Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an RN Recovery for a job in Atlanta GA.
Responsibilities:
Provide post-anesthesia and post-procedure care to patients recovering from surgery or sedation.
Monitor vital signs airway status pain levels and overall patient stability.
Administer medications and intervene promptly if complications arise.
Ensure safe patient transitions from the OR/procedural area to Recovery and later to inpatient units or discharge.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions.
Communicate effectively with anesthesia providers surgeons and the perioperative team.
Follow facility policies safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact RN license.
Minimum 2 years of Recovery/PACU or related perioperative experience required.
BLS certification required.
Strong post-anesthesia monitoring skills and ability to respond rapidly to patient needs.
Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities.
