Job Description
As a Configuration & Logistics Engineer you translate the technical product documentation from our customers into an optimally configured internal production process. You ensure that our digital product structures (M-BOMs) seamlessly align with the reality on the shop floor. This makes you a key figure for a smooth production process minimal stocks and short lead times.
Your responsibilities also include:
Translating customer E-BOMs into production-oriented M-BOMs in the PLM system (Windchill);
Setting up and maintaining article data bill of materials and parameters in the ERP system;
Responsible for correct configuration management of product data and changes;
Identifying and implementing changes in consultation with Project and Product Management;
Visualizing the impact on inventory work in progress and production;
Collaborating with engineering supply chain and production to ensure data quality;
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Requirements
Intermediate vocational education (MBO) / higher professional education (HBO) level preferably in a technical or logistics field;
Experience with ERP systems and product structures (such as BOMs and article data);
Affinity with PLM systems (such as Windchill) is a plus;
You work accurately in a structured manner and are data-driven;
You have an affinity with technical products and production environments;
Strong in analyzing collaborating and improving;
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
