ABOUT THE JOB
The Global Technology Services Department (GTS) has worldwide responsibility for supplying IT Infrastructure Services and the Americas region including the U.S. Canada and Central and South America GTS services and supports our Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) business and other business lines with the technology infrastructure services necessary to support their respective operations.
GTS is composed of talented professionals who every day translate ideas into action by combining the strength of our expertise in IT with a deep understanding of corporate and investment banking. Our objective is to deliver a simple agile and efficient information system platform in a risk-controlled environment that allows us to grow our business in existing and new markets launch new products and take advantage of new opportunities when they arise.
GTS is responsible for ensuring the stability and resilience of the organizations technology infrastructure as well as facilitating entry to new markets new technologies compliance with regulatory needs growth in business volumes and operational efficiency improvements in our overall front-to-back processing environment.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
In this role you will oversee the following missions:
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Managing technical projects including involvement from local and global application infrastructure governance and client teams
-Providing level 2/3 operations support
-Monitoring during business hours
-Daily morning check reports communication
-Operational process & documentation improvement
-Participate in on-call non-business hours
-Incident management
-Detection and communication during business hours
-Manage Level 2/3 Operations Incidents and Problems
-Request management prioritize daily requests & delivery
-Change management change delivery during non-business hours including weekends
-Change configurations peer review with Level 3
-Work within an Agile environment (Scrum)
Profile
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
-You have 5 years of experience in various industry standards and have experience with Financial Market Accesses.
-You have good working knowledge of:
-Firewall Operations such as Fortinet Checkpoint
-Internet services and protocols
-Web Proxy or similar technologies
-Remote and Site-to-Site VPN technology
-Load balancers like NetScaler and F5
General understanding of network security standards
Bonus skills:
-Network Security Automation and DevOps experience
-Unix system management
-Cisco Switching/Routing technologies (BGP OSPF VPC traffic engineering etc.)
-Scripting/Python/Ansible or other automation skills
Qualifications:
-At least 10 years of experience in data network and/or network security operations
-Experience in exchange or investment banking environments is desired
-Strong knowledge of ITIL - IT Infrastructure management best practices
-Strong operational skills with capacity to prioritize multiple requests or incidents
-Adaptability: able to adjust to new environments work effectively in varied situations and function in changing circumstances
-Willingness to participate in on-call schedules that include overnights and weekends (approx. once a month)
Education:
-Bachelors degree in computer science DEC or equivalent technical certifications
LANGUAGE
-English French
-Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is required as this role involves regular collaboration with colleagues and partners in North America.
