Purpose and Objectives
We are seeking a Global Car Fleet Governance & Data Management (Senior) Specialist to join our Global Car Fleet organization within Global Procurement. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence and data accuracy across our global fleet operations by managing and coordinating fleet-related projects maintaining consistency in fleet systems and preparing analyses and business cases for leadership. Acting as a central point of coordination between regional teams internal stakeholders and external partners this position supports high-quality decision-making and seamless project execution.
The Global Car Fleet organization is part of Global Procurement and manages SAPs company car fleets in more than 40 countries worldwide. With approximately 33000 vehicles under management our mission is to provide SAP employees with the best possible mobility benefits while keeping sustainability at the core of our strategy.
Reporting to the Head of CoE Global Car Fleet this position contributes to improving project delivery data integrity and reporting standards helping the Global Car Fleet team strengthen its expertise in fleet operations analytics and cross-regional project management.
What youll do
Maintain data accuracy and consistency in fleet systems and databases monitoring for discrepancies and implementing corrective measures including leveraging AI tools to enhance data quality and derive actionable insights.
Manage and coordinate fleet-related projects across multiple regions and functions ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Prepare presentations analyses and business cases for leadership reviews to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives timelines and deliverables.
Support process improvement initiatives and digitalization efforts including AI-driven optimization to enhance fleet operations and project efficiency.
Track project progress key performance indicators and system metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Contribute to the development and harmonization of reporting standards documentation and operational best practices across regions.
What you bring
University degree in Business Administration Data Analytics Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional experience.
At least 3 years of experience in project coordination data management fleet operations and leveraging AI tools for analysis or process optimization in an international or multi-regional context.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to ensure data integrity generate insights and apply AI-driven recommendations.
Experience preparing business cases presentations and reports for senior management.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across regions and functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English both spoken and written mandatory; German is a plus.
