Description

Position Purpose:

TheHuman Resources Learning and Development Program Managerplays a key role in shaping the growth and success of our organization by leading the design implementation and management of impactful learning strategies. This position works in close partnership with the HR Director and senior leaders across the organization to develop and deliver effective training programs assess organizational development needs and ensure that all learning initiatives align with HR strategies and compliance addition this role collaborates regularly with the Compliance Manager and Employee Relations Manager to perform a range of professional-level HR areas of responsibility include employee relations training and development performance management onboarding policy implementation and employment management.

Essential Duties:

  • Partner with HR and senior leaders to design and oversee learning strategies that drive organizational goals and employee growth.
  • Design coordinate and deliver training programs workshops and learning initiatives that enhance professional development leadership capability and overall performance.
  • Assess organizational and departmental training needs through surveys interviews and performance data toidentifyskill gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions.
  • Manage the design scheduling and rollout of learning programs including orientation andnew hire traininginitiatives for new employees.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback metrics and performance outcomes and implement improvements for continuous program development.
  • Collaborate with the HR Compliance Manager to ensure training and organizational practices meet legal policy and regulatory standards.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives byidentifyingand cultivating internal talent pipelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for managers and employeesregardingprofessional development performance management and career growth opportunities.
  • Oversee andmaintainaccuratetraining records trackingparticipationand completion to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Managebudgetexternal vendors consultants and learning platforms as needed to supplement internal training capabilities.
  • Partner with the Employee Relations Manager(ER) andother HR staff to align learning programs with organizational culture engagement and retention goals.
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives including the compensation program performance management processes policy implementation and employment management as assigned.
  • Collaboratewiththe ERManagerontalent acquisitionrecruitment and onboarding processesfor development and training purposes.
  • Partner with the ER Manager to support employees in areas such as culture leadership career development learning strategy and performance improvement.
  • Evaluatethe effectiveness of training programs andmakeimprovements.
  • Assistinthedevelopment and implementation of Human Resource policiesand procedures including department goals objectives and systems.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • CollaboratewithHR Director and ER Managerto supportemployee relations counseling outplacementcounseling andfarewellinterviewing.
  • Participatein administrative staff meetings and attendrelevantmeetings and seminars.
  • MaintainHRinformation system records and compilereports from the database; performaudits in various HR functions to ensure compliance and accuracy ofall employment records.
  • Maintaincompliance with federal andstateregulations concerning employment and laborlaws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.

  • Able toidentifyand resolve employee concerns.

  • Must be able tooperatea Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • BS/BAin Human Resources Organizational Development Business Administration Education or a related field isrequired.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification preferred.
  • A Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.
  • Understanding ofgeneral human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MSOffice;HRIS systems () will be a plus.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and employee development.
  • Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience.
  • Business or ministry leadership experience.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiencyin learning management systems (LMS) HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Performancemanagementand administration experience isrequired.
  • Human Resources Information Software (HRIS) experience ispreferred.
  • Project management experience isa plus.
  • Compensationcommensuratewith experience.
