Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilledEmergency Veterinarian to join our team at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Huntersville North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians technicians and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager.
Carolina Veterinary Specialists (CVS) is a group of six full-service emergency & specialty referral facilities in the Carolinas with locations in Huntersville Charlotte Matthews Rock Hill Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Each location provides multiple referral specialties as well as 24-hour emergency and critical care. We are a busy emergency service which employs multiple doctors and a committed team of strong technicians including a dedicated ICU team to care for hospitalized patients 24 hours/day. There is a strong sense of case sharing and communication between our services which is facilitated by twice daily rounds.

Quality of life outside of the practice is something we strongly support. For this reason the majority of our ER vets work a combination of daytime and overnight shifts never more than 4 shifts in a row with large blocks of time off. This position will allow you to live out the benefits of generous compensation that will exceed that of most general practice jobs with more time off to enjoy life.
