Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Engineering Technician III Safety to support our this role youll be responsible for implementing an effective safety program and ensuring all applicable safety standards are met. Your work will be essential in ensuring that contract requirements are consistently met and that high standards of safety performance are maintained.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate the development and implementation of company-wide safety programs such as defensive driving lockout/tagout confined space entry fire protection OSHA safety andpostenvironmental compliance programs.

• Plans organizes and provides Safety inspections for all assigned utilities/facilities/areas.

• Lead and mentor supervisorsforeman and other safety representatives to helpfacilitatetheir safety-related duties including the development of site-specific safety training programs hazard-specific safety programs and Activity Hazards Analysis.

• Administer the safety inspection program and conduct inspections to ensure program compliance for company personnel and subcontractors.

• Inspect and evaluate workplace environments equipment and practices for compliance with corporate and government health and safety standards and regulations.

• Conduct accident/incident/injury investigations andsubmitinvestigation reports to the Site Manager Operations Manager and Quality Control & Safety Managerin a timely mannerin order toidentifyroot causes anddeterminehow they might be prevented in the future.

• Prepare objective written accident reports that describe discrepancies andprovidesa root cause analysis

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED is .

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Quality Control/Safety or Facility Maintenance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

• Must be able to work independently and part of a team as.

Physical Requirements:
