The role

As a Senior Cost Engineer youll have a role that is out of the ordinary. Youll provide vital cost engineering support across high-profile projects that underpin national energy security and defence. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day you will

• Provide cost engineering support for complex projects
• Manage project controls and earned value processes
• Handle resourcing applications for payments
• Support subcontract management activities
• Collaborate with commercial procurement planning and engineering teams

This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week based in Warrington Cheshire. Hybrid working patterns are available with a minimum of three days in the office per week.

Essential experience of the Senior Cost Engineer:

• Strong IT proficiency including Excel and SAP
• Proven experience in cost engineering
• Awareness of P6 or Risk Hive
• Experience with systems and cost capture
• Risk awareness and planning capability

Qualifications for the Senior Cost Engineer:

Security Clearance
