Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a job in Atlanta GA.
Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and the OR team during operative procedures in a Level 1 trauma environment.
Prepare operating rooms by setting up instruments equipment and sterile supplies.
Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently during surgery.
Handle specimens properly and assist with counts of instruments sponges and supplies.
Support room turnover and compliance with infection control standards.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
Minimum 2 years of strong Level 1 trauma experience.
Proficient in surgical instrumentation sterile technique and trauma-related procedures.
Ability to work in high-pressure fast-paced OR environments.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
