Executive Assistant, Workplace Health and Safety, WHS Global Medical and Health

The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced exciting and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Workplace Health and Safety team in Bellevue Washington.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars planning and organizing events of all sizes and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

Key job responsibilities
Manage complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations
Manage domestic and international travel
Manage expense report coordination and submission
Organize execute and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas all-hands meetings off-sites and team social events)
Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow up on pending matters as a liaison for direct reports.
Work closely with the leadership team program managers recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team
As designated by supported executive assist in unique project opportunities.

A day in the life
As an Executive Assistant for WHS you will be working closely with the WHS Global Medical Director to handle complex scheduling with leaders within and outside the organization. Short-term and long-term initiatives that impact the success of the team will also be inclusive of day-to-day activities. Essential to this role is the ability to communicate effectively with leadership stakeholders and executive assistants. Strong attention to detail will enable success together with the executive you support.

- 5 years of senior level leadership support or 3 years of Amazon experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Bachelors degree
- High school or equivalent diploma

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
