Job Summary
Providing leadership management and development of a defined team ensuring operational commitments are met and exceeded. The role will require close liaison with employees client and internal senior managers. The operation should be Proactive and driven to achieve total customer satisfaction whilst ensuring operational and fiscal plans are at least achieved.
KeyResponsibilities
- ResponsiblefortheH&Softhesitesand engineers.
- OnsiteHVandLVAuthorisedPersonwhenqualifiedandonShift.
- ToproactivelychecktheoperationofthePermittoWorksysteminaccordancewith BGIS Quality Health & Safety procedures and client with regards to sub-contractors adherence to RAMS.
- To proactively check the operation of the LOTO system in accordancewithBGISQualityHealth&Safetyproceduresand client requirements.
- Ensure that sub-contractors perform to meet the requirement of the contract. Administersubcontractorworkapprovalsandsafeoperationwhilerepairorservice is carried out on site.
- Undertakeothertasksasdefinedandrequestedbysitemanagement.
- Toundertakeannualappraisalsofshifttechniciansonceyouhavecompletedthe BGIS Appraisal and Development training course.
- EnsureanawarenessandcompliancetothecontractualKPIs/SLAs.
- Ensure the Computer Based Maintenance system e.g. Maximo ConceptetciskeptuptodateandthatPPMandreactiveticketsare closed out with accurate data captured.
- WorkcloselywiththeAreaContractManagertoensurethattheservicelevelsare maintained to a consistently high level.
- SupporttheContractSupportinachievinghighlevelsofcustomersatisfaction
- ResponsibleforStatutory& equipped to carry out daily tasks.
- PlanPPMschedulesforsitestoensureanevenworkloadinconjunctionwiththe Area Contract Manager
- EnsurePPMiscarriedoutinaccordancewithmanufacturersguidelines.
- Management of Day Engineers and Shift team members.
- Ensureallsiteshaveaccurateassetregistersandarelabelledaccordingly.
- Responsibleforthefastandeffectiveprocurementofmaterialsandservices. Proactively source additional works and raise quotations.
- Providetechnicalsupporttoengineershelpdeskandclients.
- InvestigateandreportonmajorOperationalincidents.
- Ensureallcalloutsareattendedtoinconjunctionwiththe helpdesk.
- PromoteH&Scultureacrossthewholeteam.

- Ensureweeklytaskshavebeencompletedandassistsitemanagertoproduce reports on delivery
- Ensurecustomerservicelevelsaremaintained.
- 3rdparty contract works have been carried out.
- Attendallstatutoryworkstounderstandhowtheyareconductedandsupply feedback.
- QuotedworksthatarenotapprovedbyFMandcouldhaveabusinessimpact should be escalated
- Firstpointofcontactforallinhourshiftissuesand concerns.
- Firstpointofcontactontheescalationpathforallmechanical incidents.
- Responsiblefortheproductionanddistributionofaweeklyreportinconjunction with Area Contract Manager
- Carryoutanyreasonablemanagementrequest.
