Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design development and implementation applications under guidance from senior technical staff.

• Learn and technologies including C# and various related frameworks.

• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design development testing and deployment.

• Collaborate effectively with developers testers and other project stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure high-quality stable application performance.

• Stay updated on technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional experience in software development using technologies such Java Python JavaScript or similar programming languages.

• Willingness to train and grow in Microsoft technologies.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying and resolving technical issues.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to meet deadlines goals and project objectives.

• Familiarity frameworks or other modern programming languages.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with government agencies (e.g. City of New York) is a plus but not required.

• Proficiency in developing and maintaining web applications using C# Framework 4.8 or newer.

• Experience designing and implementing MVC5 architecture for scalability and maintainability.

• Ability to build and consume Web Services and Web APIs.

• Strong understanding of for data access and manipulation.

• Expertise in developing web pages and integrations using HTML5 CSS JavaScript jQuery and Bootstrap.

• Experience writing optimized SQL queries stored procedures and database objects using Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or later.
