About the Position: This position is an integral part ofa dynamic and vibrant team that provides support for the School of Music faculty students alumni and community of supporters. Responsibilities: - Serve as communications liaison between the Director Dewberry School of Music and students faculty and the University community;
- Manage calendar/schedule for the Director Dewberry School of Music;
- Schedule meetings record minutes and prepare meeting technology for the School of Music;
- Ensure efficiency of academic processes e.g. faculty and staff searches supervising student office assistants and marketing interns;
- Manage office and assist new faculty and staff members;
- Create graphic designs for events in Canva or Photoshop;
- Design bi-monthly Constant Contact newsletters promoting upcoming concerts initiatives announcements etc.; and
- Curate social media platforms including Facebook Instagram and X with the assistance of an intern.

Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Knowledge of performing arts;
- Must navigate databases spreadsheets Microsoft Office suite social media and Canva or Photoshop with ease;
- Attention to detail in scheduling meetings with appropriate follow-up on email conversations; and
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills; and
- Detail-oriented in all aspects.

Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated ability working with a diverse population of artists students faculty staff and community members.
