Founded in 1953 Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Minimum qualifications:
Candidates must be currently employed at Hudson Valley Community College as a non-teaching professional.
One year of full-time experience at HVCC with direct student contact and with substantial knowledge of the Colleges enrollment process and student support services; excellent customer service skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; Ellucian Banner experience.
Nature and scope of duties:
The Apprenticeship Concierge reports to the Assistant Dean of Workforce Development and Community Education or designee and performs the following duties:
Assist students in all facets of the Colleges enrollment process
Respond to student inquires via e-mail and telephone and craft replies to comprehensively address student questions and concerns
Serve as a single point of contact for enrollment-related questions from a caseload of students.
Collaborate with enrollment offices on student-related issues and questions
Assist with apprenticeship documentation reporting and training initiatives
Provide feedback to the Assistant Dean of Workforce Development and Community Education regarding this initiative
Please note: This position is grant-funded and part-time. Employees are required to execute job duties during weekday evenings. Hours may be worked remotely.
Hourly rate is equal to overtime rate as outlined in the NTPO bargaining unit contract.
