Location: Lancaster PA
Salary: $180K-$220K $50K Signing Bonus Annual Bonus Potential

Associate Veterinarian Description
Our Veterinary client is seeking change-makers and visionaries to add to their urgent care hospital in Lancaster PA (no overnight hours or Sundays). As an Associate Veterinarian you will be responsible for providing a personalized client/patient experience by leveraging the reimagined vision of veterinary care at the heart of this unique organization. They are looking for animal advocates and visionaries passionate about making a difference each day in a non-corporate environment where pets are a priority over profit. The ideal candidate communicates clearly exercises sound clinical judgment and builds trust with pet owners. This ethics-driven practice offers modern equipment mentorship and a supportive environment for ongoing clinical growth.
Surgical Mentorship Program Available: This position provides the opportunity to do an intensive one-on-one surgical mentorship with a board-certified surgeon
Associate Veterinarian Responsibilities
Examine diagnose and treat canine and feline patients
Advise pet owners on general care nutrition and preventive health
Manage sensitive or difficult client conversations with compassion
Operate diagnostic equipment and accurately interpret the results
Restore pet health by treating animals surgically or medically
Educate owners about the benefits of spaying and neutering
Ensure adherence to veterinary standards ethics and clinic policies
Prevent rabies brucellosis and other disorders by testing and providing inoculations
Complete all required medical records and documentation
Collaborate with technicians to optimize workflow
Report communicable diseases to public health authorities as required
Associate Veterinarian Qualifications
DVM/VMD from an accredited program is required
Active veterinary license in good standing is required
3 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian is required
Willingness to work one Saturday per month is required
