Sentara Home Care Services is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) in Norfolk Virginia.
This is a Full Time Rotating shift opportunity with great benefits.
The shift is 8 am - 5 pm.
As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant you will:
- Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.
- May assist in the development of treatment plans carry out routine functions and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
- Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
