Job Description:

Major Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment in an active field environment
• Perform field diagnosis and field running repairs
• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
• Complete technical documentation (service reports warranty crossover notes)
• Interact with customers sales support and the rest of the Finning team
• Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required

**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**

Specific Skills & Experience

• Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
• Valid drivers license with a successful recent drivers abstract
• Strong experience in Electrical Hydraulic and Emissions Power Train and Engine systems
• Solid understanding of Caterpillar products specifically forestry and construction equipment
• Previous gas engine and power generation experience wouldbe considered an asset

• A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable
