Supervisor Commercial Property Claims
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor Commercial Property Claims to join a Commercial Claims department. The successful candidate will oversee a team of commercial property claims adjusters manage claims and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Compensation Package
- Salary range: $90K-$125K (depending on experience)
- Medical Dental and Vision insurance.
- Company-paid life insurance.
- 401(k) plan with employer match.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of commercial property claims adjusters ensuring effective claims adjusting litigation and case management.
- Manage a caseload of claims and conduct audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and participate in claim reviews and assist with training new and existing employees.
- Review claims settlements and liability denials for accuracy content and compliance.
- Collaborate with management to hire train motivate supervise and mentor adjusters.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting claims.
- Promote excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders including attorneys investigators policyholders agents and providers.
- Demonstrate proficiency in applying claims and state auditing standards.
Qualifications/Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of insurance industry designations.
- A minimum of five years of commercial property claims adjusting experience.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant claims statutes and case law.
- Thorough understanding of handling complex litigated claims.
- Strong knowledge of claims-related terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational time management and decision-making abilities.
