Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design development and implementation applications under the direction of senior developers.

• Learn and technologies including C# and other relevant frameworks.

• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and deployment.

• Collaborate effectively with developers testers and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

• Troubleshoot and debug code to maintain high-quality stable applications.

• Stay current with the technologies tools and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in software development Java Python JavaScript or similar languages.

• Willingness to learn and be trained in Microsoft technologies.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience resolving technical issues.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

• Ability to meet project deadlines goals and objectives.

• Familiarity frameworks or other modern programming languages.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with government agencies (e.g. City of New York) is helpful but not required.

• Proficiency in developing and maintaining applications using C# Framework 4.8 or newer.

• Experience designing and implementing MVC5 architecture for scalable maintainable solutions.

• Ability to build and consume Web Services and Web APIs.

• Strong understanding of for data access.

• Expertise in developing responsive web pages using HTML5 CSS JavaScript jQuery and Bootstrap.

• Experience writing optimized SQL queries stored procedures and database objects in Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or later.
