- 47 bed facility including a 20 bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27 bed Cardiac Telemetry unit.

- We specialize in CABG and Valve surgeries TAVR Impella IABP and Lung procedures. As well as general cardiac including heart failure cardiomyopathies AMI post heart catheterization including angioplasty stenting electrophysiology studies and device implantation
Heres What You Need:
- Current RN licensureor compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire is required.
- One (1) yearof experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required.
- One (1) year of ICUexperience with post op and advanced monitoring equipment including IABP CRRT and Impella ishighly preferred.
- BCLS is required upon hire with an expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
- ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training is required within 60 days of hire.
What You Will Do:
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
