DESCRIPTION

Le Centre de santé offre des services de santé primaire dans les deux langues officielles aux personnes dexpression française de Winnipeg et à la population de Saint-Boniface.
En collaboration avec le Centre provincial de communication en matière de santé le Centre de santé Saint-Boniface offre les services francophones/bilingues du programme Health Links-Info Santé. Ce programme offre à des infirmières et infirmiers qualifiés loccasion dêtre membre dune équipe progressive de santé primaire.
RESPONSABILITÉS
Sous la supervision générale du chef déquipe la personne choisie offrira aux appelants :
- une évaluation professionnelle des besoins;
- une aide à naviguer le système de santé;
- des informations de santé des recommandations des références et des suivis.
EXIGENCES
- Certificat de qualification décerné par lOrdre des infirmières et infirmiers du Manitoba.
- Baccalauréat en sciences infirmières serait un atout.
- Trois (3) à cinq (5) années dexpérience clinique récente en soins durgence en santé communautaire ou une combinaison de domaines tels médical/chirurgical gériatrie santé mentale et santé maternelle/enfant sont préférées.
- Expérience en triage téléphonique autre système téléphonique ou intervention de crise serait un atout.
- Compétence de base en informatique.
- Facilité de communication verbale et écrite en français et en anglais.
- Une combinaison adéquate déducation et dexpérience sera considérée.
Possibilité de subvention pour poste dinfirmière ou dinfirmier bilingue ou exigeant la maîtrise du français : PART-TIME POSITION (0.4 EFT)

In collaboration with the Provincial Health Contact Centre Centre de santé provides the francophone/bilingual services of the Health LinksInfo Santé program. This program offers qualified nurses the opportunity to be part of a progressive primary care team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general supervision of the team leader the successful candidate will:
- provide professional assessment of callers needs;
- help callers navigate the healthcare system;
- provide health-related information recommendations referrals and follow-ups to callers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current R.N. registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Bachelor of Nursing degree (asset).
- Three (3) to five (5) years of recent clinical experience in an emergency department in community health or in a combination of areas such as medical/surgical geriatrics mental health and maternal/child health are preferred.
- Experience in telephone triage other telephone system or crisis intervention is an asset.
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively in French and English both verbally and in writing.
- Appropriate combination of education and experience will be examined.
