What Your Day May Look Like:
- Greet residents vendors client and aid as needed.
- Conduct internal patrol and/or external mobile patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions hazards security violations blocked ingress and egress mechanical problems unauthorized persons inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
- Monitor entrance/exits and provide guidance to site visitors and/or vendors.
- Complete daily activity (DAR) incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems.
- Provide an atmosphere in which all customers client employees site visitors client and Management know their needs are being met.
- Present a good image to client public and Management.
- Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage and provides direction or information to others.
- Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client Company Management or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
- Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
- Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
- Report alarms in accordance with client requirements and monitor cameras without being distracted.

Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma GED OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
- Security Law Enforcement OR Military experience a plus!!
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!!
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
- Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
- Must have grave shift availability with the ability to complete 3 day shift trainings during first week.
- Must be reliable accountable punctual and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors vendors client or client employees in a positive manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Intermediate-Advanced computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices and ability to report alarms via telephone.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors public client Site Supervisor and Office Management.
- Must be open to communication and feedback from client Site Supervisor and Office Management.
- Must be able to adhere to 15 minute and lunch breaks.
- Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
- Must be able to remain organized and professional.
- Must have the ability to complete handwritten reports.
- Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
- Must provide high quality customer service in-person via radio and over the telephone.
- Must have a personal vehicle Colorado Drivers License and clean driving record due to required mobile patrol.
- Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
- Must be able to attend in-person interview and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
