For ourFebruary 23 2026 RN Residency for New Graduate Nurses

Overlakes RN Residency program was designed for the new graduate nurse and is based on best practices and evidencebased education and training. After completion of theRNResidency you will bepracticing with basiccompetencies and confidence of a Staff RN.

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics Cardiac Stroke Telemetry /Progressive Care is a 36-bed unit with a patient population that includes open heart post vascular surgeries intermediate care stroke and telemetry.

Overlake Medical CentersRN Residency is a 12 Month Program which includes:

• Instructorled courses featuring current and emerging clinical guidelines and standards.
• 1:1 Clinical precepting by an RNto provide personalized bedside training.
• Focused Group Sessions that provide a forum for exchange of ideas and experiences among peers.

You will be working a .9 FTE during your precepted period ofRN Residency. Upon completion your shift will be based upon the needs of the patients and the department (most likely nights).

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State Registered Nursing license required before starting orientation on February 23 2026. (May be a Multistate license from a Compact state or a Washington RN license).
• Current Health Provider CPR certification.
• 24-month FTE commitment required.
• Due to the intensity of the program no extended vacation time will be approved.

• Cardiac Interventional Telemetry & Oncology (E4)
• Cardiac Stroke Telemetry/Progressive Care (S4)
• Medical Unit (W4)
• Orthopedic (E5) - accepting INTERNAL candidates only
• Post-op General Surgical (S5)
