Job Opportunity: Locum Medical Oncologist

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee a Nurse Practitioner in providing quality care.
- Participate actively in enrolling patients in research studies.
- Provide call coverage as needed.
- Manage an average of 12-15 patients per day primarily in a hospital setting.
- Deliver inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on oncology and hematology.
- Utilize EPIC as the primary documentation system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED)
- Active Virginia Medical License (REQUIRED)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (REQUIRED)
- Clean background check; must submit NPDB during name clearance (REQUIRED)
- Local provider only; mileage reimbursement available (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED)
- Active State License in Virginia (REQUIRED)
- BLS Certification (REQUIRED)
