Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum Medical Oncologist

Our goal is to deliver high-quality oncology care while also participating in groundbreaking research.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee a Nurse Practitioner in providing quality care.
Participate actively in enrolling patients in research studies.
Provide call coverage as needed.
Manage an average of 12-15 patients per day primarily in a hospital setting.
Deliver inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on oncology and hematology.
Utilize EPIC as the primary documentation system.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED)
Active Virginia Medical License (REQUIRED)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (REQUIRED)
Clean background check; must submit NPDB during name clearance (REQUIRED)
Local provider only; mileage reimbursement available (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (REQUIRED)
Active State License in Virginia (REQUIRED)
BLS Certification (REQUIRED)
