Position Overview:
Tarkett Sports is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President to lead our Texas Region operations. As the Vice President of Design & Construction you will be responsible for overseeing the regions full profit and loss (P&L) performance serving as the primary catalyst for growth and strategic development initiatives. You will collaborate with sales and lead the operations teams leveraging your leadership skills to drive performance optimize processes and foster a culture of excellence.
The Vice President of Design & Construction will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the Texas Region working closely with senior leadership to align regional objectives with broader company goals. You will spearhead initiatives to expand market presence diversify revenue streams and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the sports surfacing industry. With a keen focus on customer satisfaction and market responsiveness you will champion innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of operations ensuring that Tarkett Sports remains at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements. As a visible and influential leader you will represent Tarkett Sports in key industry forums trade shows and networking events cultivating relationships with industry stakeholders and reinforcing our position as a trusted leader in sports construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Management: Take ownership of the regions financial performance including supporting revenue generation cost control and profitability. Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize operational efficiency.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sustainable growth and expansion within the Texas Region. Identify new business opportunities market trends and customer needs to enhance market penetration and competitive advantage.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead inspire and mentor a diverse team of professionals across sales and operations functions. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture empowering team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers partners and stakeholders in the region. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication problem-solving and service excellence.
Operational Excellence: Oversee operational processes and workflows to ensure efficiency quality and compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and resource utilization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other regional and corporate teams including marketing finance and HR to align strategies share best practices and drive organizational success.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or related field.
5 years of in a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility preferably in the construction or related industry.
