Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Diagnostic Radiology
Join a dedicated medical team as an Onsite Diagnostic Radiologist in the charming city of Charleston West Virginia. This facility offers a supportive environment specializing in various modalities including XR CT MR US NM and Fluoroscopy. The practice expects a volume of 90-100 cases per 8-hour shift providing an excellent opportunity for those proficient in infant and pediatric barium enemas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including XR CT MR and US.
- Conduct light interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
- Perform diagnostic lumbar punctures and myelograms.
- Conduct arthrograms for joint injuries (knee elbow hip ankle shoulder).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for all procedures performed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Experience with pediatric imaging is a plus.
- Proficient in both routine and advanced imaging techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active West Virginia Medical License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- DEA Registration is required.
