The British Secondary and High School Section of Taipei European School is looking to appoint an experienced and talented Head of Physical and Health Education to join our team of dedicated and experienced educators. The ideal candidate should preferably have experience in leading a department that delivers International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) Career-related Programme (CP) and Diploma Programme (DP) courses.
We are seeking a well-motivated and creative Head of Department who is eager to be part of a well-established dynamic and forward-thinking school. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner and middle leader who values collaboration and is dedicated to the holistic development of our enthusiastic and conscientious students. Experience in offering other movement modalities would be an asset.

The Head of Physical and Health Education is responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of the department. As a member of the Curriculum Leadership Team the Head of Department reports to the Assistant Head (Curriculum Leadership); the Assistant Head in turn reports directly to the Head of British Secondary and High School. The Head of Department also liaises with other members of the Senior Leadership Team when required on curriculum pastoral and assessment matters.
Specific duties include:

a) Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) or equivalent or a
