Job Summary
Microcaps is an ETH Zurich spin-off founded in March 2019. Our unique technology allows us to produce highly precise and innovative microcapsules that empower materials to unlock new capabilities; all tailored to various markets from cosmetics to nutraceutical and pharma.
Our first commercialized products are now on the market and include cosmetic skin serum and encapsulated fine fragrance. Our current aim is to expand our production capacity to produce sustainable water-based fine fragrance at scale. Join us on our mission to bring Swiss precision to the realm of microencapsulation. After successfully launching our first products in cosmetics we want to continue our success story and bring even more products to market.
To strengthen our team in Worben (BE) we are looking for a
Quality Control Technician 100%
As Quality Control Technician you will ensure that Microcaps products meet established quality standards and customer requirements through comprehensive testing and inspection procedure. This position requires analytical skills attention to detail and understanding of quality control procedures and testing methods used in cosmetic manufacturing.

Tasks
- Quality control of Incoming Goods Intermediates Bulks and Finished Goods
- Performing of quality control measurements using basic laboratory equipment but also visual and sensory evaluation
- Document review of manufacturing protocols and weighing protocols
- Documenting your measurements and findings in a LIMS
- Contributing to the product release process
- In case of OOS support Root Cause Analysis and CAPAs
Requirements
- Laboratory skills like pH- density- refractive index- and viscosity-measurements
- Excellent IT skills to work with MS 365 tools but also a LIMS and ERP; Great computer literacy
- Great attention to details
- Ability and enjoyment of self-organization and creating a highly organized environment within your area of responsibility
- You are a natural communicator and are able to understand the needs of a dynamic team with ease
- Work permit in Switzerland required fluent in English and German
