OBGYN Physician Full-Time

Position Summary:
This full-time OBGYN Physician role involves providing comprehensive reproductive and womens healthcare including prenatal labor delivery and postpartum services. The physician will manage chronic conditions ensure accurate documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality healthcare to female patients

• Monitor and manage prenatal labor and postnatal care

• Conduct examinations order diagnostic tests and prescribe treatments

• Deliver infants and ensure maternal and neonatal safety

• Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Manage cases involving chronic reproductive health conditions

• Follow medical and administrative protocols and professional standards

• Collaborate with leadership regarding patient care and clinical decisions

• Refer patients to specialists as necessary

• Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives

• Prescribe medications appropriately

• Support community-based patient-centered care processes

• Contribute to audits for compliance with state and federal guidelines

• Serve as a preceptor for medical and advanced practice students

• Participate in daily team huddles and coordination meetings

• Support nursing staff and assist with implementation of procedures

• Rotate between clinic locations as needed

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm or 9:00 am 6:00 pm

• Occasional weekends

• On-call approximately 5 6 days per month

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree

• Minimum 3 years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics

• Active California Medical License

• DEA certification

• CDS certification

• AHA BLS certification

• AHA ACLS certification

• Board certified or board eligible in OBGYN

• Willingness to consider supervisory duties if needed

• Ability to work required schedule
