Role Overview You will be responsible for validating complex SoC platforms at the post-silicon stage ensuring electrical functional and performance integrity across subsystems. The job demands strong hands-on experience with lab equipment memory interfaces power measurements and Python-based automation. Key Responsibilities
- Execute post-silicon validation including board bring-up functional testing and subsystem-level validation.
- Perform power measurement and characterization using DAQ/DMM tools.
- Validate DDR/Memory interfaces ensuring timing margins stability and performance compliance.
- Use oscilloscopes and other lab instruments extensively for signal probing debug and waveform analysis.
- Analyze and debug Signal Integrity (SI) issues on high-speed interfaces.
- Work on SoC platform validation covering CPU memory peripheral interfaces and power domains.
- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for test execution data capture and report generation.
- Collaborate with design firmware and hardware teams to root-cause silicon issues.
- Document test plans validation results and debug findings with precision.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in post-silicon validation for SoC or hardware platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with power measurement DMM/DAQ equipment oscilloscopes and related instruments.
- Solid understanding of DDR (Memory) architecture and validation techniques.
- Ability to debug signal integrity and high-speed interface issues.
- Strong Python programming skills for automation and data analysis.
- Knowledge of SoC architecture board bring-up and hardware validation flows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-speed protocols (PCIe USB MIPI etc.).
- Exposure to power and thermal characterization.
- Familiarity with JTAG scripting and lab test automation frameworks.
