Construction Assistant Project Manager Internship, Summer 2026

Position: Assistant Project Manager Intern
Location: Columbus Ohio
Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Superior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Summer 2026 term (May August). When you join Superior you join a national leader in electrical design and addition to your day-to-day responsibilities we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns leadership training career prep unique jobsite visits and beyond.

Under the guidance of our Project Operations team youll gain exposure to our jobsites and how we keep our projects moving forward including contracting scheduling estimating bidding and contract administration. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project documentation including Construction drawings requests for information submittals and meeting minutes
• Document weekly project owners meetings and decisions
• Posts drawings and specifications with most recent information
• Assist the project team with site safety documentation and coordination
• Assist in the management of of project permit process
• Help maintain and distribute project schedule
• Assist the project team with closeout of project including generation of project punch list and documentation
• Collaborates and demonstrates teamwork in a project setting

Education

• Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management or related field
