About this role
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Associate to help establish and scale a Test Data Factory within Aladdin Engineering. This individual will play a meaningful role in designing and implementing mechanisms to generate manage and refresh high-quality test data across environments. By enabling reliable on-demand data provisioning this role will directly improve developer efficiency accelerate testing cycles and ensure consistency across ResponsibilitiesDesign & Build Test Data Mechanisms: Develop and implement automated repeatable and on-demand processes to generate investment data at scale across pre-production environments and diverse user Existing Platforms: Collaborate with Aladdin engineering teams to understand existing tools frameworks and pipelines and extend them into robust data creation and management Management: Establish seamless database refresh processes across environments while incorporating guardrails to protect client data and ensure Developer Efficiency: Provide reliable test data capabilities to accelerate development integration and validation cycles across engineering Strategy: Balance the needs of data discovery (finding relevant existing data) versus data creation (synthetically generating test datasets).Must Have SkillsStrong programming skills in Java with Spring OR Python (OOPs concepts).Basic understanding of Angular/React for frontend -on experience with APIs (REST GraphQL).Proven understanding of Database concepts (MSSQL Sybase).Knowledge of build systems and CI/CD grasp of Data Discovery vs. Data Creation to Have SkillsExposure to test automation tools (e.g. Selenium).Familiarity with NoSQL databases (Distributed highly available NoSQL data store) and in-memory caching systems (Ignite).Prior test data management of test frameworks and automation with financial data types Transaction Reference to AI tools for data management and a general understanding of working of Gen AI models training fine tuning You AreA problem-solver with strong analytical and technical working across multi-functional engineering with a keen eye on data governance security and about enabling engineering efficiency through scalable solutions.Our benefits
