Class A CDL Driver (Full-Time)
Location: Atlanta Healthcare Laundry Facility
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Full-Time Class A CDL Driver for our Atlanta Healthcare Laundry facility. This individual must demonstrate sound judgment quick decision-making and strong communication skills. If youre committed to high performance and continuous improvement wed love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Collect finished linen carts and transport them to the back dock.
Load delivery trucks by pushing carts onto the assigned vehicle.
Deliver clean linen products to healthcare clients.
Transport soiled linen back to the plant for processing.
Comply with all federal state and local D.O.T. regulations.
Adhere to OSHA safety standards related to bloodborne pathogens.
Coordinate daily delivery activities with Transportation Plant Managers and Team Leaders.
Maintain flexibility to adapt to operational changes and unscheduled events.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance ensure cleanliness and disinfect after transporting soiled linen.
Work rotating shifts as scheduled.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL license.
Clean driving record.
High school diploma or GED required.
23 years of experience in a manufacturing production or service environment.
Previous experience as a commercial driver is required.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
Strong analytical ability to manage order quantities accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced noisy environment.
Physical ability to stand walk bend stoop twist and reach for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 400 pounds over distances up to 60 yards.
Strong customer service organization interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
