Job description
The Associate Vice President (AVP) Functional Delivery is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the strategic direction operational excellence and continuous improvement of all core functional areas within Framatome Limited. Reporting directly to the COO the AVP Functional Delivery leads and manages the Heads of PMO QHSE Engineering Manufacturing Testing & Qualification and Site Installation ensuring seamless integration and high performance across all functions. This role is critical in delivering projects safely on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. Deputise for the COO as required. The AVP Functional Delivery is working closely and ensure alignment with the AVP Business on all relevant matters. The position requires exercising a high degree of autonomy in problem solving and decision making.
Profile
What will you be doing
Functional Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement growth and delivery strategies for all functional areas in alignment with Framatome Limiteds overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with the COO and executive team to set functional goals and drive organisational excellence.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the effective delivery of projects and services across all functional domains ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
- Drive cost and lead time reduction initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each function and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Cross-Functional Integration:
- Lead initiatives to optimise processes enhance efficiency and eliminate operational silos.
Quality Health Safety & Environment (QHSE):
- Champion a strong QHSE culture ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Resource Management
- Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure the right skills and capabilities are available to meet project and business needs.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients partners and regulatory bodies.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify and mitigate operational risks across all functional areas.
Reporting and Performance Management
- Prepare and present regular reports on functional performance challenges and opportunities to the COO and executive committee.
What are we looking for
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering Manufacturing Business Administration or a related field.
- Substantial experience in a senior leadership role within the energy engineering or industrial sectors; nuclear industry experience is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple functional areas including project management engineering manufacturing and QHSE.
- Process minded with practical experience of developing and/or operating Management System certification for ISO9001 and/or 45001 and other relevant standards (engineering and/or manufacturing related).
- Business acumen and experience in managing budget and P&L (ideally in excess of 10M per year).
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects safely on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership people management and team development skills.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of integrity professionalism and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work with multinational stakeholders (France Germany US)
