SAP Project System (PS) Consultant
Job Summary
The SAP PS Consultantis responsible fortheimplementation configuration and supportof the SAP Project System module to enable effectiveproject planning execution monitoring and financial control. The role ensures integration of PS withFI/CO MM SD and other modulesto support end-to-end project lifecycle management particularly forcapital projects internal projects and customer projects.
The consultant works with project management and finance stakeholders to streamlinebudgeting resource planning cost tracking and revenue recognition.
Key Process Knowledge
The consultant mustdemonstrateexpertisein:
Project Structures Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Networks Activities Milestones.
Budgeting & Cost Planning project budgets forecasts version management.
Project Execution & Monitoring actual cost tracking confirmations status management.
Billing & Revenue resource-related billing milestone billing revenue recognition.
Integration with FI/CO MM SD PP cost allocation procurement and settlement.
Reporting & Analytics project progress cost analysis earnedvalue management.
Investment Management (IM) capital project planning and asset capitalization.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and supportSAP Project Systemto manage full project lifecycles.
DesignWBS and network structurestailored to business requirements.
Implementbudgeting planning and forecastingprocesses for projects.
Supportproject procurement and material requirementsvia MM/PP integration.
Enablerevenue recognition and billingthrough SD/CO integration.
Managesettlementstoassets under construction (AUC) and fixed assets.
DevelopPS reports dashboards and KPIsfor project monitoring.
Ensure compliance withaccounting standards and internal project governance.
Provideend-user training documentation and UAT support.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelors orMasters degree in Engineering Finance or IT.
SAP Certified Application Associate SAP Project System (PS)preferred.
Experience
58 years of SAP PS consulting experience.
At least 2 full-cycle implementations inSAP Project System.
Strong knowledge ofintegration with FI/CO MM SD and Asset Accounting.
Experience incapital projects internal orders and investment management.
Technical & Functional Skills
ExpertiseinWBS networks milestones and project budgeting.
Hands-on experience withcost planning revenue recognition and settlement.
Knowledge ofResults Analysis (RA) and reporting tools.
Familiarity withSAP S/4HANA PS capabilities.
Soft Skills
Strong project accounting and cost control knowledge.
Excellent communication and business stakeholder engagement.
Ability to translate project management requirements into SAP solutions.
Team player with analytical and problem-solving mindset.
