Job Summary

Overview:

is looking for casual team members to assist during the busy Change of Preference period over the summer with the potential to continue beyond.

As part of the team within the Global Sales and Recruitment portfolio you will be responsible for providing authentic peer-to-peer customer service through telephone and online channels. Youll answer inquiries support educate and encourage prospective students to apply to RMIT University.

We are offering casual roles with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver positive proactive customer service across all channels.
  • Follow established processes to ensure accurate data capture and lead generation.
  • Answer first-level inquiries about RMIT courses and services.
  • Support the delivery of prospective student engagement activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with new RMIT courses and information.
  • Participate in outbound call campaigns to various student audiences including those in the application offer acceptance and enrollment stages.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in an RMIT award program in 2025 (vocational or higher education).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service including strong verbal communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all levels.
  • Strong teamwork skills contributing to a positive team culture in line with RMITs Code of Conduct.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to achieving both personal and team goals.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check
