As a General Surgeon you will play a critical role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients while collaborating closely with a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures in accordance with established medical protocols
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards within the medical facility
- Engage in community outreach to promote health awareness
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Completion of a general surgery residency program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Dedication to providing high-quality patient care
- Basic knowledge of medical software and electronic health records
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training
Schedule: 6a-3p 7 consecutive days per month
Rotating call shifts required
Cases: General surgery and some GI no complex cases
Must be board-certified
