Description
In this role you will be pivotal in delivering exceptional obstetric and gynecological care to our patients. As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. This position not only enhances your clinical skills but also allows you to make a significant impact on community health.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine check-ups examinations and screenings
- Manage pregnancy and childbirth processes
- Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological conditions
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on health and wellness topics
- Stay current with the latest medical practices and technologies
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Vermont
- Previous experience in obstetrics and gynecology is preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of relevant medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing healthcare environments
Schedule: Monday-Friday in clinic 8a-5p
OB and ER weekend beeper call rotation 1:4
Annual Volume: 400 deliveries
Daily Volume: 12-16 clinic patients
No special procedures required
Support Staff: CNMs take first call
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
