Description
In this role you will be pivotal in delivering exceptional obstetric and gynecological care to our patients. As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine check-ups examinations and screenings
- Manage pregnancy and childbirth processes
- Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological conditions
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on health and wellness topics
- Stay current with the latest medical practices and technologies
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Vermont
- Previous experience in obstetrics and gynecology is preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of relevant medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing healthcare environments
Schedule: Monday-Friday in clinic 8a-5p
OB and ER weekend beeper call rotation 1:4
Annual Volume: 400 deliveries
Daily Volume: 12-16 clinic patients
No special procedures required
Support Staff: CNMs take first call
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
