As a Locum MD/DO in Emergency Medicine you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in urgent need. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostics
- Stabilize patients and manage acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
- Participate in emergency response drills and training sessions
- Maintain compliance with medical regulations and protocols
- Engage in continuous professional development and training
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current state medical license in good standing
- Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Experience in emergency medical settings is preferred
- Level III Trauma
Schedule: 7a-7p 2p-10p or 7p-7a
Must be willing to work days nights and holidays
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Annual Volume: 40000 patients
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses
