Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough neurological assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of neurological disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatments
- Stay current with advancements in neurology and healthcare best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care meetings
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Neurology is preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on neurology
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and clinical situations
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
Schedule: 24-hour shifts 7 on/7 off
Setting: Inpatient
ED and med floor consults for strokes seizures EEG reads and other neurological conditions
EMR: Patient Keeper and Meditech
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
