Job Summary
Senior Process Engineer - Chennai
We are hiring Process Engineers to support Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery projects. The role involves developing process engineering deliverables performing process simulations and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and review process engineering deliverables in compliance with international standards.
- Prepare PFDs P&IDs heat & material balance equipment/instrument datasheets and process calculations.
- Perform hydraulic calculation pump/compressor sizing PSV sizing and flare load summaries.
- Conduct Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus simulations and process modelling.
- Participate in HAZOP / HAZID / model reviews / SIL studies.
- Provide technical support during procurement construction pre-commissioning & commissioning.
- Coordinate with mechanical piping electrical and instrumentation disciplines for design integration.
- Ensure timely submission of deliverables and maintain project documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E / / M.E / in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2 10 years of Process Engineering experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemicals.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus
- Sizing & hydraulic calculation tools
- Microsoft Office & engineering documentation standards
- Familiarity with standards / FEED / EPC project execution.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
