Job Summary

A fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Applications Developer to join an industry leading software company in Leicestershire. This is an ideal role for someone with strong commercial experience in Android development who is looking to further their career within a supportive and well established engineering team. The company offers excellent training ongoing development and long term prospects.

Location: 2 days a week in their office in Leicestershire with transport links from Leicester Rugby and Market Harborough

Salary: 35000 to 45000 plus benefits

Requirements for Mobile Application Developer

Strong commercial experience designing developing deploying and supporting mobile applications for Android devices
Experience using Android Studio with Java or Kotlin including relevant frameworks and JNI
Experience using Objective C or Swift with Xcode
Experience designing for accessibility
Exposure to Mobile Device Management integrations
Experience using automated mobile testing tools such as Appium
Experience managing releases on the Google Play Store and or Apple AppStore
Fantastic communication skills
Degree educated in a Computer Science related subject such as Mathematics Physics Engineering Software Engineering or similar

Beneficial experience

Experience using C for cross platform mobile libraries
Experience designing developing deploying and supporting mobile applications for iOS devices

Responsibilities for Mobile Application Developer

Develop and maintain high quality mobile applications
Work closely with developers testers and product management teams
Contribute to both the technical direction and wider business needs of the product
Identify risks and create clear action plans
Investigate issues and implement effective solutions
Contribute to software design discussions
Work to agreed deadlines and uphold a consistently high standard of work
