The Catherine Cutler Institute at the University of Southern Maine is seeking a Research Associate II Learning Opportunities Manager for the National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement
The Research Associate IIwill serve as the Learning Opportunities Manager for the National Tribal Child Welfare Center for Innovation and Advancement(the Center) a five-year cooperative agreement funded by the Childrens Bureau that provides training and technical assistance to Tribal child welfare programs across five priority areas: workforce supports prevention programs federal requirement support tribal-state collaborations and data management.
This position is responsible for leading the design and delivery of learning opportunities for Tribal child welfare programs on behalf of the Center including webinars virtual communities of learning and peer-to-peer exchanges between Tribal programs. This position develops and facilitates engaging culturally- grounded content; designs and implements activities that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among child welfare programs; and monitors and reports outcomes for federal reporting and CQI purposes.
The Learning Opportunities Manager works closely with other service areas in the Center to align with the goals of Tribal programs and collaborates closely with the Resources and Communications Team to disseminate learning opportunities across the Centers platforms.
This is a grant funded position with a starting annual salary up to $75000 commensurate with experience. This can be a remote or hybrid position.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors Degree and seven years of experience developing managing or facilitating group learning experiences and/or products orequivalent combination of higher education and experience.
Strong experience creating products and services for a professional audience preferably those serving and partnering with American Indian/Alaska Native communities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including summarizing existing information drafting original content developing engaging external communications and detailed editing.
Demonstrated success working on a variety of large and small teams with diverse groups of people.
