Job Details:
- Location: Chambersburg PA
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Wage: $17.00 per hour

Position Overview:
The Estimator plays a critical role in evaluating project costs timelines and potential risks to deliver accurate quotes for customer projects. This position requires collaboration with the quoting team sales and customer service to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing project scope: Review customer blueprints drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Calculating costs: Estimate material labor equipment and other resource costs. Update customer price lists and set up parts and kits.
- Creating documents: Prepare detailed accurate cost estimates and proposals for clients and senior management.
- Monitoring project costs: Track expenses throughout the project lifecycle to maintain budget compliance.
- Assessing risks: Evaluate potential risks and incorporate health and safety requirements into cost analysis.
Note: Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on company customer and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed as an Estimator at Value Added Distributors you should have:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- 1 Year of Experience in estimating or analyzing industrial manufacturing projects (preferred).
- Project management experience (a plus).
- Proficiency in mathematics statistics and data analysis (preferred).
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
- Ability to type 35 words per minute.
