How youll contribute
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:
- Assess and prepare for the days schedule print MRIs lab results reports etc.
- Take vitals discuss and document patient histories
- Apply assist andremoval ofcasts splints braces dressings staples sutures.
- Patienteducationmedicineusage cast care home care of dressings splints therapy what to expect etc.
- GiveIMinjections as necessary
- AssistingDrs PAs with procedures/injections
- Maintain thework flowfor the Drskeepingstudy incoming/outgoing pts to keep the Dr.s on schedule
- Venipuncture for in-house labs

Applicants must be a graduate of a practical school of requirements include:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Previous research experience preferred.
