McCormick Paints is seeking aPart-TimeDelivery Driver (NON-CDL)inMt Pleasant Washington DClocation. Primarily responsible for delivering merchandise. The Driver is also responsible for assisting customers selling merchandise obtaining merchandise for customers orders organizing stocking mixing & matching paint colors loading and unloading merchandise and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Duties include but are not limited to those listed below. Other duties may be assigned.
Inside Sales Duties:
- Customer Support:Greet and assist customers in the store providing product information recommendations and technical support.
- Sales Transactions:Process orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Product Preparation:Assist in tinting and mixing paint to meet customer specifications.
- Merchandising:Maintain organized product displays and assist with inventory restocking.
Delivery Driver Duties:
- Safe Deliveries:Operate a company vehicle to deliver paint products to customers ensuring all safety and DOT regulations are followed.
- Loading/Unloading:Efficiently load and unload products verifying order accuracy both before and after deliveries.
- Route Management:Follow designated delivery routes ensuring timely and professional service.
- Customer Interaction:Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during delivery interactions supporting the overall customer experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Experience:Prior experience in retail sales delivery driving or related fields is preferred.
- License:Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt between in-store and delivery responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency for processing sales transactions and inventory tracking.
PREFERRED QUALITIES
- Flexibility:Comfortable working in a hybrid role that requires transitioning between sales floor and delivery duties.
- Team-Oriented:Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across multiple store locations.
- Dependability:Reliable with excellent punctuality and adherence to schedule.
- Growth Mindset:Eagerness to learn and potentially transition into a full-time permanent role within McCormick Paints through internal application opportunities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Applicants must disclose any physical problems which may interfere with job performance.
- Must be able to lift 65 lbs. 5 feet from the floor; balance and load 260 lb. paint drums with drum cart.
- Upon delivery must be able to unload vehicle and carry paint and other products to required site.
- May be able to stand for several hours at a time.
