About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Facilities Coordinator to join Nottingham City Councils Housing Services team. This role is essential in ensuring our buildings and facilities operate smoothly and safely. You will be a point of contact for Facilities Management enquiries handling day-to-day requests recording minor faults and taking action to resolve issues promptly.
Regular responsibilities include overseeing the post room carrying out soft FM audits monitoring compliance and liaising with technical officers where maintenance issues arise. You will also complete weekly and monthly checks for legionella and fire alarms maintain accurate records and ensure office equipment is functioning correctly. Additional duties include managing car parking facilities and supporting staff with event setups.
Alongside these core tasks you will periodically assist the Fleet and Facilities Manager with project work such as archiving and fleet replacement projects. This varied role requires excellent organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Please note: The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and be confident in driving a variety of vehicles. This includes but is not limited to cars light goods vehicles (up to 3.5 tonnes) Transit vans and Luton vans.
