Job Summary
Pay range: $16-17 per hour
- Provide Personal Care as required: including but not limited to giving showers/tub or sponge baths shampooing hair assisting with dressing shaving providing incontinence care medication reminders wheelchair transportation transferring residents.
- Provide Home Making Services as required: including but not limited to making the bed washing dishes tidying the apartment organizing closets and dresser drawers laundering clothing and bedding ironing clothes grocery shopping meal preparations.
- Provide pet care: dog walks cat care.
- Provide additional assistance as required.
- Document on the daily report sheets services provided to the resident. Daily reports to be completed and returned at the end of each shift.
- Attend all required training in-service and staff meetings.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents the preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents visitors families and co-workers.
Qualifications :
Level of Formal Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Area of Study: General Education
Years of Experience: 1 years
Type of Experience: General patient care in a care facility or in a home situation.
Language Skills: The ability to understand and speak the English language.
Personal Attributes: Patience and compassion for the elderly.
