This role supports the Business Development team by strengthening communication and connectivity with General Practitioners (GPs) to increase referrals to Epworth. The primary focus is on educating GPs and showcasing the unique value of our specialists and services available for their patients.
Key responsibilities include developing a Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)accredited education program for GPs delivered by our specialists. The role will foster strong relationships with specialists GP clinics practice managers and community networks to raise awareness of Epworths expertise and assist GPs in understanding the range of care options available across our hospitals.

Qualifications :
You will make an impact by:
- Delivering and attending a number of education programs or conferences and social/promotional events annually.
- Participating in broader Epworth committees and planning processes providing advice from the GP perspective.
- Engaging with GPs to ensure programs are developed which meet their education needs.
- Developing GP focused marketing and relationship building strategies and promotional campaigns that underpin and support organisational strategic plans
- Providing appropriate reference material orientation and relevant support articulating Epworth requirements to meet business and patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role:
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in customer relationship business development or GP Liaison.
- Demonstrated experience with developing and co-ordinating the delivery of face to face events.
- High level computer competency (microsoft office suite mailchimp Eventbrite)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Working knowledge of the health industry
