Job Summary
- Perform physical silicon device evaluation at chip and board level and document errata to support necessary device modifications.
- Deliver silicon evaluation plans evaluation reports and regular status updates for the assigned tasks within the agreed timelines by the validation schedule.
- Development of software & hardware for automated measurements and for improving execution efficiency.
- Independently develop ideas to improve silicon evaluation flow.
- Interface directly with core teams to resolve application (system bugs) and device-related (silicon bug) issues.
- Be able to step in or be assigned in validation lead role. This includes planning evaluation supporting collateral development reporting to management and internal customer teams and reviewing evaluation documents. It further includes understanding of the system marketing and design requirements. Provide regular updates to the core team & program management office.
- As the validation lead drive interactions with Design System Application Firmware GUI Test Product and Quality Engineering to resolve product issues in accordance with overall technical project leader.
- Mentor other validation engineers (juniors or new starters) on the development methodology and assist with their ramp up.
Qualifications :
- University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor related industry
- System hardware and mixed-signal device (preferably Power management Digital Multiphase Controllers and DC/DC converters) validation and debugging skills.
- Experience in usage & automation of all equipment required for the aforementioned validation
- Familiarity with Industrial specifications from key customers including Nvidia AMD Intel etc.
- Detailed knowledge of key performance metrics of these specs and experience in their validation techniques
- Software skills sufficient to enable measurement automation script development primarily Python. Knowledge of SCPI commands to communicate with lab equipment.
- Understanding of communication protocols e.g. I2C SPI SVID SVI3 AVS PMBUS etc.
- Results-oriented able to deliver on time under tight schedule pressure self-tracking agile to task adaptatio
